Aristocratic sleuth Edmund Mottley always works alone. Aspiring "gentleman's gentleman" Aloysius Baker just needs work. When an incompetent force meets an irascible object, everything's gotta give. Reviews

Cozy Mystery Joy...Wonderful Book!
"I had the best time reading this book...Mr. Mottley had me from the first word. So much fabulous language, fun characters, a missing diamond, and murder most foul. So much fun! I think cozy mysteries might be something I need to read more of."
~ Allison C. English

It's as if P. G. Wodehouse and Dorothy Sayers...
It's as if P. G. Wodehouse and Dorothy Sayers met up for drinks in the West End and wound up making the rounds of the Drones, the Egotists, and the Bellona Clubs. The writing pops (Mottley's description of the porcelain doll, Miss Janet Heeton, is more than worth the price of admission by itself). The knotty problem does Sir Arthur and Dame Agatha proud. Brava! Brava!
~ Bryson Lee
